SixStrings is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data necessary to provide the app's functionality:

Audio Data: Microphone input is processed entirely on your device for chord detection and tuning. Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server.
Search Queries: When you search for songs, your query is sent to our server to fetch chord and lyric data. We do not log or store search queries.
Preferences: Your app settings (theme, language, favorites) are stored locally on your device.

2. Voice Search

Voice search uses your device's built-in speech recognition (Apple Speech framework). Voice data is processed by Apple according to their privacy policy. We do not receive or store any voice recordings.

3. Data Storage

All user data (favorites, recent songs, settings) is stored locally on your device. We do not have user accounts and do not collect personal information.

4. Third-Party Services

The app connects to our proxy server to fetch song data from public chord databases. No personal data is transmitted in these requests.

5. Children's Privacy

SixStrings does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.
